DOROTHY MAE CONKLIN

Dorothy Mae Conklin, 62, of Herman died Wednesday, Jan 13, 1999, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Services were Saturday, Jan. 16, at First Baptist Church in Tekamah.

Burial was in the Tekamah Cemetery.

Dorothy Mae Conklin was born Sept. 22, 1936, at Tekamah to Arthur and Dorothy Belle (Hanneman) Tallman.

She attended school in Tekamah.

She cooked at area steakhouses for many years. At the time of her death, she was employed by Greyhound Bus Lines in Omaha.

She was survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Bob Maus of Cleveland, Ga.; two grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Abbott of Shawnee, Okla.; and two brothers, Bill Tallman of Tekamah and Frank Kjeldgaard of Encino, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Grant; and two sisters.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair was in charge of arrangements.
