Helen J. Kremer
Services for Helen J. Kremer of Omaha are 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 9 at Benson Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Kennard, Nebraska Cemetery.
Helen J. Kremer was a member of both the Nebraska and National Funeral Directors Association; the Benson Commercial Club, Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Narcissus Chapter No. 269 Order of the Eastern Star, Benson American Legion Post No. 112 Auxiliary; Benson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2503 Auxiliary, Altrusa Club, Danish Sisterhood, Toastmistress Club and was International Toastmistress of the Year in 1958. She was also a member of the Omaha Douglas County Health Board during the 1960’s.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Irene Berry, Naperville, Illinois; nephew, Leslie H. Berry, Omaha; nieces and their husbands, Helen “Sue” and Kenneth Hunter of Kennard, Janet and Mason W. Hallett, Naperville and Judy Duffek of Omaha; nine great-nieces and great-nephews and 19 great-great nieces and great-great-nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Methodist Hospital Foundation or to the giver’s choice of charity.
Kremer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
