Elroy R. Cook was born Sept. 15, 1875 at Fontanelle, Nebraska and passed away at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair at the age of 87 years and one day.
He leaves to mourn his death two brothers, Artis E. Cook of Fremont and Victor B. Cook of Dearborn, Michigan; and three sisters, Mrs. Hallie Robertson and Miss Bula Cook of Herman and Mrs. Dora Sager of Coldwater, Michigan.
Roy Cook was a retired railroad brakeman. During his life he also served as a painter and interior decorator.
The funeral was held at the Bader Mortuary in Fremont Wednesday afternoon. Pallbearers were Dalton Strenger, William Kuhn, Frank Bahner, Oscar Wilkinson and Luther Monke, all of Fontanelle; and Henry Truhlsen. Burial was in Fontanelle.
