John E. Suverkrubbe, 67, of Fort Calhoun, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 in Fort Calhoun.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery. There is no visitation.

John E. Suverkrubbe was born April 25, 1940 in Omaha to John and Jane Suverkrubbe.

He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Gayle Maine of Fort Calhoun; nieces and families, Gail and Mike Robinson of Fort Calhoun; Julie and Kevin Kavan of Fremont; and nephew and family, Ted and Lori Maine of Blair.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials are suggested to the Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue Department.
