SERVICES FOR MRS. FRITZ ARP WERE TUESDAY

Services for Mrs. Fritz (Emma) Arp were held Tuesday, September 10th, at the Emmaus Lutheran Church at Kennard. Mrs. Arp was 78 at the time of her death on Saturday, September 7. Mrs. Arp died at the Memorial Hospital of Dodge County where she had been ill for several weeks.

Mrs. Arp was born at Kennard, Nebraska on April 3, 1896. She was married on February 24, 1915 at Kennard to Fritz Arp. The Arps lived at Kennard until 14 years ago when they moved to Fremont, Nebraska.

Mrs. Arp is survived by her husband, two sons and three daughters. The sons are Albert A. of Kennard, and Harry E. of Kennard. Daughters are Mrs. Glen (Doretta) Nelson of Oakland, Mrs. Harold (Edna) Behrens of Fremont, Mrs. Vernon (Marian) Kassenberger of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Mrs. Arp has a brother and a sister. The brother is Wilbur Wulbern of Blair and the sister is Mrs. Meta Kuhl of Blair.

The two p.m. Tuesday services were handled by the Bader-Lawson, Rozanek Funeral Home in Fremont. Pastor Joseph Myers officiated with burial in the Blair cemetery. Memorial has been established for the Emmaus Lutheran Church at Kennard in Mrs. Arp’s name.

Casketbearers were Allen Arp, Roger Dennison, William Lammers, William Wulber Jr., Willie Arp and Vernon Arp.
