Albert F. Swanson, age 91 passed away Sunday, July 3, 1988 at the Eppley Care Center in Omaha, NE.
He did farm work for many years until he started farming the home place in the 1920s. He continued to farm until after his mother’s death.
He lived in the Kennard area for several years. He never married. The last six years he resided at the Crowell Home in Blair. He was a life-long member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 6 at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard with the Rev. Norman Lillegard officiating. Burial was in the Kennard Cemetery.
Mr. Swanson is survived by two brothers, Harry Swanson of Blair, Elmer Swanson of Papillion and one sister, Mrs. Howard (Alma) Widener of Tekamah. Many nephews and nieces also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
