MRS. JESS LOUGHLIN DIED AT SCHUYLER LAST WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Jess Loughlin (Jessie Alma Loughlin) died last Wednesday at Memorial Hospital in Schuyler, Nebraska. Mrs. Loughlin was 80 years of age, having been born at Herman, Nebraska, September 17th, 1892.
She had been living at the Senior Citizen’s Home at Schuyler with her husband, Jess. Mr. and Mrs. Loughlin lived at Blair for many years, leaving here only a short time ago.
Mrs. Loughlin devoted her life to being a housewife.
She is survived by a son and two daughters. Two other children preceded her in death. The son is Earl McMurtrie, of Fremont, California. The daughters are Mrs. Ethel Jensen, of Blair and Mr. Edna Holton of Chicago.
Three brothers survive. They are James Kirk of Ft. Collins, Colorado; Fred Hansen of California and Robert Hansen of Omaha. A sister is Mrs. Helen Dutton of Julesburg, Colorado.
Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary in Blair last Saturday afternoon. The Rev. M. James Metzgar conducted the service. Burial was is the Blair Cemetery. Three grandsons and three great-grandsons acted as pallbearers.
