Graveside services for Charles Edgar Cox, of Bellevue will be today at 2 p.m. at the Blair Cemetery, Pastor Owen Wilmot will preside.
Mr. Cox died June 3 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Omaha at age 62.
He was born July 2, 1925 in Whitecloud, KS where he was born and raised. He opened a service station in Omaha 1956. In 1959 he moved to Bellevue. In 1962, he opened the Cox Texaco Station in Bellevue. He retired in
1981.
He was married to Phyllis Cox, who passed away in 1975. In 1976, he married Jane E. Bardouche.
He is survived by sons Charles and William Cox, both of Bellevue and daughters Mrs. Bernard (Patricia) Gonsior and Mrs. Roger (Cheri) Winsor, both of Omaha. Also surviving are six grandchildren, a step-mother, Amy Cox of North Platte, and eight brothers and sisters.
