Carroll D. Olson, 58, of Tekamah, died suddenly on Monday, Dec. 12, 1988, at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
Carroll was born on Oct. 5, 1930 at Herman to Clarence and Myrtle (McDonald) Olson. Carroll farmed near Tekamah nearly all of his life.
Survivors include a son, Randy C. Olson of Tekamah; three daughters, Joanna Ellingson of Chadron, Diane Sheets of Tekamah and Sandy Haack of Blair; eight grandchildren, his mother, Myrtle Olson of Tekamah; a sister, Ann Warren of Blair; four brothers, Lloyd Olson, Raymond Olson and Ronald Olson, all of Tekamah and Clarence Olson, Jr. of Dakota City; and his dear friend Sarah Hunke of Tekamah.
Carroll was preceded in death by his father, Clarence E. Olson, in 1986.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at the First Presbyterian Church in Tekamah with the Rev. Thomas E. Robson officiating. Interment was in the Tekamah Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Hamel and Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah.
