Memorial services were held Sunday, December 10 in the Salem United Methodist Church in Bland, Missouri, for Hazel Fern Crull, 90 who died December 8, 1989. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery.
Hazel Fern Crull was born February 24, 1899 in Omaha, Nebraska to Hiram Howard and Mildred Estelle Broberg Krum. She married Roy Buford Crull and to this union three sons were born.
She lived in Nebraska until 1969 when she moved to Missouri. Her last occupation was an elementary school teacher.
In 1973, she moved into the Whispering Oaks Apartments in Bland. Failing health required her to enter the Gerald Caring Center in 1988.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one infant son and an infant brother.
She is survived by two sons, Howard Crull with his wife, Lorraine of Bland and Daniel Crull with his wife Margaret of Hooper, Nebraska. One sister, Gladys Widener of Pipestone, Minnesota, nine grandsons, three granddaughters, 17 great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren also survive her.
Sassann’s Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements for the services.
