Services For Emma Kruger Held Tuesday
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Arlington, for Mrs. Emma Kruger, 95.
Mrs. Kruger died Saturday at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair.
She was born March 10, 1881 at Spiker in Washington County. She lived in Fontanelle until moving to Arlington in 1943.
Mrs. Kruger was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid.
She was married to Frank Kruger on June 20, 1906. He preceded her in death in 1968.
Survivors include a son, Leslie of Omaha; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Nelson and Mrs. Clara Gosker, both of Blair; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Reckmeyer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery.

EMMA KRUGER
Emma Kruger was born March 10, 1881 on a farm near the community of Spiker in Washington County, Nebraska. She was the daughter of William and Minnie (Altenbernd) Flake.
She was united in Holy Matrimony with Frank Kruger on June 20, 1906. The couple farmed 3 miles south of Fontanelle, Nebraska until moving to Arlington in 1943. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid. Frank Kruger passed away March 2, 1968. Emma passed away early Saturday morning, December 11, 1976 at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair, Nebraska, at the age of 95 years, 9 months and 1 day. She is survived by her son Leslie Kruger; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ella Nelson and Mrs. Clara Gosker; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
