Ewi Frank Kruger
Ewi Frank Kruger was born March 14, 1893, here at Arlington. He was baptized soon after and was confirmed March 24, 1907, by Rev. Hilgendorf of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
He served in the World War for nearly two years; a year of which was overseas. Since that time he has been active in the American Legion.
He was married to Alma Hartung, January 10, 1926.
He served as treasurer of St. Paul’s Lutheran congregation for the past eight years.
Last Monday evening he met with an accidental death near Hannibal, Mo., at the age of 47 years, nine months and sixteen days.
He leaves to mourn his bereaved wife, his mother, two sisters, Laura of St. Louis and Mrs. Henry Hilgenkamp; two brothers, Martin and Albert; Mr. and Mrs. John Royuk, and numerous other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon, January 4, at two o’clock at St. Paul’s Lutheran church north of Arlington.
