Funeral services for Anna Arterburn, age 96, who died Sunday, November 22 at the Crowell home will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 1992 at the First Christian Church with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Anna Lenora Postlewait was born on July 30, 1896 at Medford, Oklahoma to William and Nancy Brannaman Postlewait. She graduated from Medford High School and taught school in Oklahoma for a number of years. In October of 1919, she was united in marriage to George Arterburn at Medford, Oklahoma. They lived in Oklahoma until moving to Blair in 1935. George preceded her in death in March of 1990. She was a member of First Christian Church since 1935, helped with the bloodmobile and Blair Hospital Rummage Sale for many years.

She is survived in death by her son Robert of Blair; daughter and son-in-law Wilma and Carol Vittitoe, Bellevue, Nebraska; daughter Patricia Holcolmb, Ridgewood, New Jersey; grandchildren and spouses, Robert and Oraline Vittitoe, New Orleans; Michael and Wanda Vittitoe, Omaha, Nebraska; Mark and Lisa Ladrow, Connecticut; and Michelle Holcomb, Grinnell, Iowa.
