Enterprise 18 May 1917
Christ Borcherding, 76, one of the early settlers of the Telbasta neighborhood died at the home of a daughter at Hooper. Mr. Borcherding came to Nebraska from Germany thirty-two years ago and located on a farm near Telbasta. His wife and twelve children survive.
