Funeral services were held at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church last Monday for John Asmussen, 53 years of age, Fort Calhoun. Interment was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Mr. Asmussen, who was born October 2, 1910, was a lifetime resident of Fort Calhoun. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by several cousins.

Pallbearers were Jack Smith, James Chase, Ray Klingforth, Howard Swanson, Wm. Schmidt and Arnold Jipp.
