Della E. Kuhr, 91
Former Orum resident Della E. Kuhr, 91, of Wahoo, died Thursday, Feb 7, 2002, at the Haven House.
Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 11, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.
Della E. Kuhr was born July 7, 1910, in Douglas County to Henry and Anna (Logeman) Braack.
She married Arthur D. Kuhr on Feb. 25, 1931, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The couple farmed near Orum for many years.
Mrs. Kuhr was active in the Papio Merrymakers organization in Blair. She was also a former member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Orum. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. In 1980, Mrs. Kuhr moved to Cedar Bluffs to be closer to her daughter.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ethel and Lyle Rogers of Cedar Bluffs, four
grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister Betty Mumm of Omaha, and a brother, Lloyd Braack of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, in 1974, a sister and four brothers.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
