SERVICES ARE HELD FOR FORMER BLAIR WOMAN

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 26, at Sinai Lutheran Church for Fern H. Olson, 77, of Fremont who died March 23, 1983, in Geneva after a long illness.

The Rev. Conrad Schmidt conducted the services. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery at Fremont.

Fern H. McDonald Olson was born October 5, 1905, in Washington County. She was a life-long resident of the Blair, Hooper and Fremont areas. She moved from Hooper to Fremont in 1975.

She married Edwin Olson on October 5, 1923, in Council Bluffs. He preceded her in death on November 23, 1978.

She is survived by two sons, Fred Olson of Craig and Vernon Olson of Exeter. One sister, Mrs. Chauncy (Hazel) Wright of Blair; six grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren also survive her.
