ONE KILLED IN CRASH NORTH OF HERMAN
A 44-year-old Omaha man was killed in a head-on crash Saturday evening on U.S. Highway 73, about 4 ½ miles south of Tekamah, according to the Burt County Sheriff’s office.
He was identified as Isaac Lee, Sr., 2204 North Twenty-fourth St.
The sheriff’s office said Lee was a passenger in a car driven by Daniel Lincoln of Carter Lake, Ia.
The other car was driven by Mrs. J.W. Smith of Lyons, Neb., according to accident reports. Her husband was a passenger in the car.
Lincoln and Mrs. Smith were hospitalized in Blair. Smith was treated and released.
