JAMES H. OLSON DIES AT AGE OF 79
James H. Olson of Blair, passed away Tuesday, April 26th at the Blair Community Hospital.He was born in Denmark on August 24, 1886 and as a baby came to the United States with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lars Olson. They located in Omaha.
On June 11, 1909 he was married to Ella Olson, and in 1923 they moved to Washington County and farmed until they retired in 1957 and moved to Blair.
He is survived by his wife, Ella, a son, James S. Olson of Carter Lake, Iowa, and a daughter, Mrs. Rex Bunn (Agnes) of Fremont. Also ten grand grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 29th at the Campbell's Mortuary. The Rev. Dale Westadt officiated and burial was in the Blair Cemetery.
Pallbearers were six grandsons: James and George Olson of Blair, Stanley and Steve Olson and Raymond Gustin of Omaha and James Gustin of Ceresco.
