OLSON FUNERAL TO BE TODAY

JOSIAH OLSON, 79, EX-BLAIRITE, WAS FATHER OF RUFUS B. OLSON

Josiah G. Olson, 79, of Northfield, Minn., the father of Rufus B. Olson of The Pilot-Tribune staff, died Sunday morning at a hospital in Rochester, Minn. following a lingering illness.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Jerome Oldberg of Northfield, Minn.; and the son, Rufus Olson of Blair.

There are five grandchildren, including Patricia and Marilyn Olson of Blair.

Mr. and Mrs. Olson resided in Blair for several months during 1954.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at Salem Lutheran Church in Roland, Ia. Burial will be in Roland Cemetery.
