Buried in Rose Hill cemetery
Published in Tribune on 15 October 1911
Mrs. Lisa Olson, wife of Louis Olson, long since deceased, died at her home near New York creek of apoplexy on Saturday, November 11, aged 72 years, 3 months and 17 days, and was buried at Rose Hill cemetery Monday afternoon. Funeral services were held at the Rose Hill church, conducted by Rev. Chas. Lang of this place. Mrs. Olson was an old and highly respected resedent of this county and will by missed by many friends in the neighborhood where she had so long made her home.
(There are some discrepancies regarding this obituary. In the Rose Hill Cemetery records, the same death date is attributed to a Mrs. Kysa Olson. The penciled publishing date written on the original newspaper obituary must be an error: a month before her death!)
