RITES MONDAY FOR MRS. ETTA HAACK
Funeral services were held today (Monday) for Mrs. Etta Haack, 83 years of age, who died Friday evening at Memorial Community Hospital.
The Rev. Dale Westadt of the Methodist Church officiated, assisted by Miss Mertie Klute, a retired minister, living at the Crowell Home.
The services were held at the Campbell Mortuary with interment in the Blair Cemetery.
Mrs. Haack is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Byron Bunn of Blair and Mrs. Neal Burdic of Omaha; a son, Marvin Haack, of Arvada, Colo., five grandchildren; and a twin brother, A. G. Curtis of Lincoln; and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Haack was born Sept. 10, 1878, the daughter of Mary and John F. Curtis, and grew to womanhood in the Orum vicinity. She married Hugo Haack who preceded her in death, March 23, 1898.
She is a past member of the Legion Auxiliary and Rebekahs, and a member of the Royal Neighbors.
Pallbearers were Herman Petersen, Earl Long, T. A. Bohs, Ned Tyson, Harry Tyson, and Elmer Dixon.
