GLADYS LEONARD DIED IN CALIFORNIA
Mrs. Gladys Leonard, well known Blair woman, died Sunday at El Camino hospital, Mountain View, California. She had been visiting in California at the home of a son prior to her last illness.
Mrs. Leonard was born at Haden Place, Colorado July 9, 1905 and was 62 years of age at the time of her death. In Blair she resided at 1164 Colfax street. Her husband, Thomas Leonard, died a number of years ago.
Mrs. Leonard is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Haswell, of Blair; and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Fickle of Blair; and a son, Tom Leonard, also of Blair. A son, William, with whom she had been visiting prior to her death, lives at Palo Alto, California. Her mother, Mrs. Jessee Bushbee Raver, of Chokio, Minn., also survives. In addition there are five sisters, one brother, all from out of state; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Congregational church in Blair, the Rev. Harodl Schaible conducting the service. Burial under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary was mnade in the Blair cemetery.
Pall Bearers were Rudy Fick, Rex Cushman, Ed Cushman, Carl Hansen, Geroge Good and Jens Jensen.
