BERT LEONARD DIED WEDNESDAY

Bert Leonard, 81-year-old Blair man who resided at 1717 West Nebraska street, died at his home Wednesday, April 1st. He had been in failing health for some time.

The deceased was born December 2, 1878 in Iowa, moving to Blair area a number of years ago.

His wife, Gertrude Leonard, survives. He is survived by two daughters and a son. The daughters are Mrs. Thelma Pounds of Blair and Mrs. Helen Newell, also of Blair. A son, Russell Leonard, resides in Omaha.

Four sisters are living. They are Mrs. Tony Sidebottom of Blair; Mrs. Laura Eckland of Omaha; Miss Emma Leonard of Omaha; and Mrs. Melissa Dixon of California. A brother, Jess Leonard, lives in Omaha.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 4th at the Campbell Mortuary at 3:30 P.M. The Rev. Rex Bear will conduct the services and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery.
