Mrs. Catharine, wife of Thomas Leonard, died at her home in Grant township, Washington county, Nebraska, February 21st, 1891, of pneumonia. She leaves a husband and eight children to mourn her loss. She was buried in the Blair cemetery, the Rev. Chas. Cross, of Herman, in charge of the exercises. She will be greatly missed in the neighborhood, being one of its most useful members.
(A penciled notation on the obituary card suggests that her maiden name was “Vizina.”)
