Former Blair Woman Buried In Blair
Charles Lamb received word Monday of the death of his sister, Mrs. Hattie Pieper of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He and his son Everett left at once for Cedar Rapids and the body was brought to Blair where funeral services were held this (Thursday) afternoon at the Chris K. Bendorf Funeral Home with Rev. W. H. Jackson in charge.
The deceased lived in the Spiker neighborhood twenty-five years ago with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Cushman, long since deceased. She is survived by her father, Henry Lamb of Fremont, three brothers, Chas. Of Blair, George of Fremont and John of Lead, S.D. and two sisters, Mrs. W. F. Ramser of Lead, S. D. and Mrs. Walter Sherwood of Grand Island, Neb. With the exception of her brother, John, all were present at the services. Her husband passed away in June 1931.

Sister of Charles Lamb Dies at Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Pieper who passed away at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on February 8, were held from the Bendorf funeral home in Blair last Thursday afternoon, Rev. W. H. Jakcson, having charge of the services. The body was brought to Blair by Charles Lamb, a brother of the deceased. The deceased had lived in the Spiker neighborhood about twenty-five years ago with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Cushman long since deceased.
Surviving her are her father, Henry Lamb of Fremont; three brothers, Charles of Blair, George of Fremont and John of Lead, South Dakota; also two sisters, Mrs. W. F. Ramser of Lead, and Mrs. Walter Sherwood of Grand Island. The husband passed away in June 1931.
