Services Held Saturday For Charles Cilek

Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday for Charles Cilek, 90 of Arlington. He died Wednesday night at his daughter’s home in Arlington.

He was born November 22, 1889, in Hay Springs to Frank and Mary Cilek. He lived there until moving to Arlington 15 years ago.

Cilek married Bessie Postel Evans April 10, 1917, in Hot Springs, S.D. She died earlier.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Art (Stella) Lallman, Arlington; one sister, Mrs. Olga Phillips, Hay Springs, and nieces and nephews.

Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Reckmeyer Funeral Home in Arlington with the Rev. Gerald Senn officiating.

Burial was in Salem Lutheran Cemetery at Fontanelle.
