GEORGE HALSTEAD DIES IN MICHIGAN
George Halstead, a one-time Blairite, died last week at Evart, Michigan. He was 94. He was an uncle of Mrs. Sam Steele and Zeke Halstead, both of Blair.
Mr. Halstead who went by the name of “Doe” will be remembered by old timers for his ability as a baseball player.
