Mrs. A.D. Harris died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Perch Compton in this city at 4 o’clock last Friday afternoon of sleeping paralysis, from which she has been afflicted for over a year. The funeral was held at St. Mary’s Episcopal church at 1:30 Sunday afternoon, Father Marsh officiating. Jeanette Marguerite Patterson was born and raised in Monmouth, Ill., and was but 43 years of age. She is survived by her husband, two brothers and one sister. One brother, C.M. Patterson, was here from Monmouth to attend the funeral service. Mrs. Harris was housekeeper for Peter Tyson for three years, and they had moved to Elk City, Neb. She came up to be nursed by Mrs. Compton, realizing the end was near.
