Morris Simonsen Passed Away on July 14th

Marius (Morris) Simonsen passed away at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair on Friday, July 14th. Mr. Simonsen was 84 years of age at the time of his death. He was born November 16, 1887 in Denmark.

Mr. Simonsen had been an employee of the Blair Municipal Power Plant until his retirement several years ago.

Services will be Monday morning, July 17th at 10:00 a.m. in the Campbell Mortuary. Reverend Charles Gates will officiate with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Simonsen is survived by a son Richard of Lincoln and three step-sons. They are: Leslie Nelson, Charles Nelson and Chester Nelson all of California.
