SERVICES HELD ON MONDAY FOR EMMA HANSEN
Funeral services were held Monday, February 2, at graveside in the Blair Cemetery for Emma E. Hansen, 86, who died January 30, 1981, at the Nursing Home in Tekamah. Rev. Kurt Sortland conducted the services.
Emma E. Hansen was born in Burt County, Nebraska, on January 4, 1895, to August and Emma C. (Bieber) Timm, Sr. She was a cook in Blair for 33 years and was married to Thorvald Hansen, who preceded her in death. She had lived in Blair most of her life, but had lived at the Tekamah Nursing Home for 4 ½ years.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Margaret) Braley, Independence, Missouri; and one foster son, Richard C. Timm, Blair. One sister, Anna Anderson, Chicago, Illinois; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive her.
Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
