HANSEN SERVICES HELD MONDAY
Funeral services for Mary Ann Hansen of rural Blair were held Monday morning, August 13, at Blair’s First Lutheran Church, Rev. Carl F. Schattauer Jr. officiated, with organist Clare Cowing accompanying vocalist Homer Nielsen. Burial followed at the Blair Cemetery.
Mrs. Hansen, 80, died at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha Thursday, August 9. Mary Ann, the daughter on Mads P. and Paulina (Paulsen) Hansen, attended Cuming City School. She married Christen S. Hansen in 1928, who preceded her in death.
She lived on the farm Christian bought in 1926 until her death.
Survivors include son David of Blair, daughter Mrs. Elmer (Marilyn) Dove of Weber, Kansas, three grandchildren and one great-grandchildren, brothers Hans P. M., Aaron, Ed, James and Martin Hansen of Blair, sisters Bertha Hansen of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Lydia Hansen of Ruskin, Nebraska.
Pallbearers were Earl C. Thompson, Dean Rathjen, Kenneth F. Jensen, and Rodney, Dick and Clifford Hansen.
