Michael E. Schutt, 65, of rural Tekamah, died April 1, 2016, in Omaha, NE.
He served six years in the U.S Air Force and was a Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, of rural Tekamah; son, Daniel of Denver; daughter, Kathy (Jason) Jurey of Kennard; and grandchildren, Connor and MacKinzey Jurey of Kennard.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
The family suggests memorials to the Tekamah-Herman High School Class of 1969 Scholarship, c/o 940 CR 31, Tekamah NE 68061, or to the Tekamah Volunteer Fire Department.
