Mrs. Frank Harbican received the sad news last evening at about 6 o’clock of the death of her husband, who has been making his home with his mother and brothers over at East Dubuque, Ill. He was taken to Lincoln for treatment for mental troubles some months ago and at about Christmas time his brothers took him to their home in East Dubuque. He strayed away on Thursday and the body was found yesterday underneath a bridge where he had hanged himself. Mrs. Harbican, George and Melvina will leave this noon for East Dubuque for the funeral service, which will probably be held tomorrow. Mr. Harbican was born at Big Patch, Wis., September 27th, 1869, and was, therefore, 53 years of age last September. He was married to Jennie M. Wishart at Des Moines, Ia., Sept. 18th, 1901. Three children were born to them, one dying in infancy. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Knights of Pythias, Eastern Star, Modern Woodmen of American and of the Woodmen of the World, carrying insurance in the two latter orders. Mr. Harbican was light and water commissioner here for several years. The bereaved family have the sincere sympathy of many friends.
