LOCALLY KNOWN MAN DIES ON WEST COAST
News has reached Blair of the death of Russell Harrison, a former Blair man and a member of the graduation class of 1928.
Mr. Harrison married the former Margaret Jenkins, also a Blair girl. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Harrison, and a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Harrison and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Haynes.
Mr. Harrison was born at Lincoln August 9, 1910. He died at Monterey Park, California, a victim of throat and lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, 2 grandchildren and a brother, George William Harrison at San Jose, California.
While in Blair he was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal church. He had lived in California for 32 years and was employed as a ground surveyor for an engineering firm. Interment was in Sacramento.
