From Clarence McCormick I learn that Mrs. Sarah Hart died at Beatrice, this state, on the 17th of July and was buried there. She came from Ohio in the spring of 1864 and located on the present Kennard townsite. In 1865 she married R. C. (Bob) Brewster but they separated after 15 or 16 years of “wedded bliss” and a year or two later she married Wm. Hart of Saunders County. Four children, three by her first husband and one by her second marriage, and her husband survive.
