Eunice C. Linnenkohl, 85, of Blair, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.
Funeral services were Thursday, Nov. 20 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.
Eunice C. Kuhr was born Feb. 26, 1923, in Blair to Martin and Esther (Sorensen) Kuhr. She graduated from Blair High School and attended art school in Omaha. She served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.
On Feb. 5, 1944, she married Howard Linnenkohl in Birmingham, Ala.
Mr. and Mrs. Linnenkohl lived in Omaha and Blair, where Mrs. Linnenkohl worked as a cashier at different businesses.
She enjoyed playing the piano and organ, cooking and oil painting.
She is survived by a son, Jon, of Howells; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leon and Gloria Kuhr of Denver, Colo.; Martin Kuhr, Melvin and Verna Kuhr; Donald and Sharlene Kuhr; and Richard Kuhr, all of Blair; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband,Howard; and brother, Kenneth.

SERVICES 10:30 am, Thursday, Campbell-Aman Funeral Home; burial, Blair Cemetery. VISITATION starting 10 am Wednesday with family receiving friends from 6-8 pm.
