Wilbert Paul Hawkins, 54, of Fort Calhoun, died Sunday, March 23, 2003, in Blair.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. Interment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Wilbert Paul Hawkins was born Feb. 9, 1949.

He was a member of Fort Calhoun American Legion Post No.348. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening and reading.

He is survived by a wife, Brenda Hawkins of Fort Calhoun; daughter, Patsy Hawkins; sisters, Catharine Tietz of Fort Calhoun, Judith Boyd of Blair, and Susan Neuman of Fort Calhoun; step-brother, William Kanaley of Omaha; many nieces and nephews.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
