FRAHM RITES TO BE HELD

WILLIAM FRAHM, 86, WAS RESIDENT OF COUNTY ENTIRE LIFE

William Frahm, 86, resident of the Fort Calhoun area his entire life and member of a prominent pioneer Fort Calhoun family, died Tuesday evening at his home. Mr. Frahm farmed for many years and was semi-retired at the time of his death.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Samuelson of Omaha officiating.

Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Frahm, he was born on the old home farm near Fort Calhoun in 1863. He was never married.

Burial will be at Fort Calhoun Cemetery with the Sievers Mortuary in charge.

Mr. Frahm is survived by a sister, Mrs. May Rix, and a brother, Otto G. Frahm, both of Fort Calhoun, in addition to several nieces and nephews.

COUNTY PIONEER DIED TUESDAY

Wm. Frahm, Native Of County Dies At Age Of 86 Years

Wm. Frahm, pioneer and native of this county, died at the Convalescent Home in Blair on Tuesday evening. Had he lived until Sept. 27, he would have been 87 years of age.

He was born in Ft. Calhoun, the son of the late Henry and Dorothea Frahm, pioneer settlers. Here he grew to manhood and spent his entire life. He never married.

In his earlier life he farmed near Ft. Calhoun, but of late, he retired and made his home in Ft. Calhoun until his health failed him.

He leaves a sister, Mrs. May Rix and a brother, Otto G. Frahm, both of Calhoun and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Presbyterian church in Ft. Calhoun with Rev. W. O. Samuelson of Omaha officiating, and interment under the supervision of the Sievers Mortuary will be made in the Calhoun cemetery where he has a host of relatives and friends buried.
