Services for Ray A. Lund, 91 of Blair who died December 17, 1995 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair are 1 p.m. Thursday, December 21 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel. Rev. Kenneth A. Jensen is officiating. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery.
Ray A. Lund was born August 11, 1904 in Des Moines, Iowa to Nicholas T. and Marie I. Hansen Lund. He attended Blair High School and Dana College.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in both the Army and Navy.
He was a member of the Blair American Legion and First Lutheran Church.
He did bookkeeping for the Carl Christensen Lumberyard, Vinton Motors, Larsen and Jipp Construction and other businesses in Blair. In earlier he worked for the fathers of James Anderson and Dean Wulf on their farms.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and four sisters.
He is survived by one sister, Norma (Mrs. Frank) Van Steenhoven of Parker, Colorado.
