"JACK" Henderson, 63, DIES IN OMAHA
WAS BROTHER OF MRS. W.J. SAS
John W. “Jack” Henderson, Jr., 63, of Omaha, former Blair printer for many years, died Monday in Omaha. He had been in poor health since suffering a stroke a year ago.
The body was brought to the Campbell mortuary here, where funeral services were held yesterday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Ralph P. Rasmussen of First Methodist church in charge. Burial followed in Blair Cemetery.
Native of Blair, Mr. Henderson was born December 30, 1876. His father, John Wesley Henderson, Sr., was county superintendent of schools for a number of years.
After growing to manhood here, Mr. Henderson learned the printing craft as an employee of L. A. Williams on The Pilot. Later he worked on The Tribune for W. R. Williams, later for John A. Rhoades. Before leaving Blair in 1917 to go to Newman Grove, Mr. Henderson was employed on the Blair Enterprise by L. F. Hilton.
Surviving Mr. Henderson are a son, Howard, of Omaha; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Harvey of Chicago; and a sister, Mrs. William J. Sas, of Blair.
