SERVICES HELD FOR MARTHA HEWETT ON MONDAY

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 27, at Campbell Funeral Home for Martha Hewett, 83, who died in San Bernardino, California, on July 22, 1981.

Rev, Jerry Binns conducted the services. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Martha Hewett was born on May 10, 1898, in Blair. She married Raymond Hewett. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Gloria Henry, Peru, Nebraska; one son, Arthur Dale Gustason, San Bernardino, California; two step-daughters, Maxine Kempthorne, San Bernardino, California, and Jayne George, San Bernardino, California’ and one step-son, Wm. J. Gustason, Sigourney, Iowa. Nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Deanna Foley, Omaha; Minnie French, Decatur, Nebraska; and Edna Anderson, Lake Port, California, also survive her.

Pallbearers were Richard Machmuller, Thomas Mosser, Melvin Hewett, Floyd Gustason, William Baxter, and Don Hewett.

Clare Cowing was organist. Homer Nielsen was vocalist. Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
