FORMER AREA RESIDENT DIES IN ARKANSAS

Mrs. Johanna Lund, wife of the former Ever Lund, passed away in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital after a month's illness Tuesday, January 28, 1969. She was born in Douglas County on June 14, 1885.

The Lunds lived on a farm near Fort Calhoun until the death of Mr. Lund in 1948 after which she moved to Omaha. She lived in Omaha with Mrs. Arna Petersen until recently.

Mrs. Lund is survived by two sons, one daughter, eight grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren. John Lund now resides in Dresser, Wisonsin while Harry Lund is a Fort Calhooun area farmer. Her daughter, Mrs. Ella Robinson, now lives in Cascadia, Oregon.

Services were still pending at the time of this printing, the arrangements being made by the Sievers Funeral Home of Fort Calhoun.
