Mrs. Skinner Dead, Age 41

Mrs. Bill Skinner, Former Herman Resident, Dies In California

Funeral rites were held in California Saturday for Mrs. William Skinner, 41, former resident of Herman. She died at LaMesa, Calif., last Wednesday. Burial was in California.

Mrs. Skinner, as Elizabeth Claire Jensen, daughter of Jens Peter and Lara LaCretia Jensen, was born Aug. 8, 1914, at Bancroft, Nebr. She was graduated from Bancroft High School, then attended Wayne State Teachers College before teaching school at Herman for three years.

She and William Skinner were married May 22, 1937. They farmed near Herman eight years, then moved to California.

Surviving Mrs. Skinner are her husband; two daughters, Sally Jean, 14 and Linda Louise, 9; and her mother, Mrs. Laura Jensen.
