JAMES LUND

James Lund, an old citizen of this vicinity, passed away last Friday, Feb. 20 of infirmities of old age. he had been at the Dick Stricklett home for about a week prior to his death.

The deceased was born in Denmark over eighty-four years ago. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church, W.O.W., and Danish Brotherhood.

He was married to Miss Mary Rasmussen in Denmark and came to Nebraska in 1884.

Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church Sunday, Feb. 22 at two p.m., with interment in the local cemetery.
