DALE LONGCOR BURIAL SERVICES WERE HELD TUES.

Funeral services were held Tuesday for Melvin Dale Longcor, 73 year old Blair man who died at the Blair Hospital Saturday, April 20th. He lived with his wife at 1231 State Street.

The deceased was born August 9th, 1900 at Pilger, Nebraska, and moved to Blair as a young man. Most of his active life was devoted to railroad maintenance work.

He was married to Lillie Gilliland who survives his death. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leonard Scheibe (Beverly). A brother, Claude, resides at Virgil, South Dakota.

Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Plymate conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Otto Wenz Sr., Richard and Roger Wenz, Robert Plymate, Mark Collette, and Tom Flynn.
