Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, at Bader-Rozanek Colonial Funeral Home in Fremont for Ruth C. Potter Hindman, 92, who died February 3, 1990 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair. Rev. Virgil Reeve of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.

Ruth C. Potter Hindman was born May 22, 1897 in Fremont to John and Lillian Whiteford Potter. She lived in Fremont until 1954 when she moved to Hollywood, California. In 1965, she moved to Herman where she lived until 1973 when she moved to Blair.

She was a retired nurse. She was owner of the Ruth Potter Maternity Hospital in Fremont from 1932-1948.

She married Harry Hindman in Hollywood September 19, 1954. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1965.

She is survived by a son, Harry B. Potter of Fremont; two daughters, Lillian (Mrs. Robert A.) Frye of Fremont; and Janet (Mrs. Eugene) Frye of Arlington, eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
