SERVICES FOR RUTH HITCHMAN ARE TODAY
Funeral services for Ruth B. Hitchman will be held Thursday, May 1, at the First Methodist Church in Blair at 2 p.m. Mrs. Hitchman died at the Crowell Home on Monday, April 28th at the age of 81.
Mrs. Hitchman was born at Murray, Nebraska on March 8, 1894. Mrs. Hitchman was a restaurant cook before retiring several years ago.
Surviving Mrs. Hitchman are four children, seven grandchildren, and nine great gradnchildren. The children include: Bob Hitchman, Tucson, Arizona; Mrs. Harvey (Barbara) Heinzerling, Omaha; Mrs. John (Jane) Hamaker, Omaha; and Mrs. Howard (Ann) Campbell, Omaha.
Pallbearers will be Paul McDonald, Bud Jensen, Jon Stewart, Dale Stricklett, Gordon Vindon, and Wayne Lambertz.
Burial will be made in the Blair Cemetery with Rev. Gordon Patterson officiating and Katy Flynn providing the music. Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
