Mrs. Viola Fischer, mother of well known Kenneth Fischer of Blair, was killed in an automobile accident at 96th and Dodge streets in Omaha Monday afternoon. The car she was driving was involved in a head-on collision.

The 66-year old woman was dead on arrival at Bergan Mercy Hospital where she had been taken by the Irvington Rescue unit.

Mrs. Fischer was the mother of four sons, all of whom had been outstanding University of Nebraska football players. Kenneth Fischer, who lives in Blair, is a former Blair High School coach and is presently on the University of Nebraska coaching staff. The other sons are Rex, Pat and Cletus, all of whom are living. Mrs. Fischer was a widow.
