Ira Fulton
The death of Ira Fulton, an old Blair resident, occurred at the Soldier’s Home at Burkette, Neb., April 1, and interment was made in the cemetery at that place. The Fulton family have lived here for many years, and were highly respected citizens, and the widow still resides in her home on east Colfax street. The children, living, are Dr. A.J. Fulton of Havelock, Neb., Arthur Fulton of Whitman, Neb., Lillian Fulton of Norfolk, James G. Fulton of Ft. Dodge, Ia., and W.E. Fulton of Miopage, Kansas.
Ira Fulton was born in Center county, Penn., Jan. 12, 1839 and enlisted in the army in 1861 in the 15tth Ill, regiment Co. E. He served until 1865 when he was honorably discharged. He was married in 1864 to Ellen Meyers of Pleasant Valley, Ill.
Mrs. Fulton has the sincere sympathy of a large circle of friends in her bereavement.
